Fenway is still in quite a mood after we tried to introduce him to Blue. He has been attacking Ortiz way more that usual (their relationship has always been a delicate balance). He has also taken to meowing angrily if we go to pet him. I am not quite sure what a proper resolution to the problem is. Hopefully, our trip to the West Coast, will give Fenway sometime to reflect about what is truly important in life OR he will seriously injure (physically or mentally) Ortiz. If he is not better in 2009, we may need to get a cat whisperer in the house.
In other news, GavLan visited last weekend and we all went to Asheville. We stuffed ourselves at a wonderful tapas bar, Lance and Parker enjoyed some MANLY fruity martinis, I ate to illness, we watched some cougars dance and that was just the first night! Sunday we ate a delightful breakfast, visited galleries and a craft show, ate delicious chocolate treats, drank even better coffee and drove along Blueridge mountain parkway. On the way back to Durham, we stopped in Winston-Salem, where we ate outside in a heated tent served by an very odd waitress-- She had us trapped in conversation and she knew it (and we were in an OUTSIDE HEATED TENT THAT "was warmer than inside". It was a wonderful trip....thanks for visiting Gavin and Lance.
