Parker and I may need children if only to help our blog be more interesting.....I have been a bag blogger lately, but it's not my fault that our lives are terribly boring.
The last couple of weeks have been filled with sports (too bad Sox), movies (we just saw W--Parker liked it, I just found it depressing), going out to dinner (we found a great New Orleans restaurant) and yoga.
We are nearly settled on holiday plans. Parker's parents and Jon/Rose will be visiting for an unforgettable Thanksgiving dinner (except for gravy--I have nearly perfected the art of making 8 dishes for one meal with one oven). In early November, I am hosting a tamalada--I have big plans for red chile with pork, green chile with chicken and green chile with cheese tamales. I even purchased a special pot for steaming them. We will be visiting New Mexico before Christmas and then driving to Gilbert for Christmas, New Years and Riley's birth! FUN FUN FUN!
On another note, Parker and I are really into the current presidential election (you better vote!). I have noticed that Parker has developed a "unique" way to Get Out the Vote. I call it "bar canvassing." Nearly anytime we go out for a drink, Parker ends up talking to a local trying to convince him to vote Obama. He thinks he has swayed a couple people.... If NC does go blue, we can all thank Parker for his tireless efforts.
